29th September 2011 - "Web"

The weather has been freaky for the last few days. For the first half of the day it's cold(ish) and foggy - down to tens of metres visibility in places. Then by lunchtime it is sunny and baking hot; in fact record-breakingly hot (hottest 29th Sept @ 28.5 degrees - previous record was set in 1895!)

The other weird thing is that the spiders are on overdrive. There are webs everywhere. This one was one of an almost unbroken line along the railings at school!
