11th July 2017 - "Friendship"

This is the bracelet I made on my Pre-ordination retreat, which represents me as I prepare for a life of public ministry. Each colour has a significance, which mainly ties in with the traditional/liturgical understandings of these colours.

Green reflects God in the ordinary and everyday.
White is about holiness and purity (doubled up!)
Purple is because I am serving the King of Kings.
Red is for the Holy Spirit and power.
Black is because I have a dark/shadow side, which is also part of who I am, and which will be part of my ministry.

It's sort of like a mini-dog collar, I suppose!
