1st March 2012 - "Let's go fly..."

There are at least two pairs of Red Kites who have made Harrogate their home, though this one was out cruising without his/her friend today. They regularly tease me my circling overhead just long enough for me to notice, and nip in to change my lens. By the time I'm back out, they've moved on!

This week, because of my 70-300mm lens self-challenge, I actually was in with a chance of photographing them!
